Part no 34112157573 front pads vs 34116779652

The 1st PN comes as Value Line BMW brake pads on Real OEM
Are these any different than usual BMW brake pads?

Most posts online suggests they are the same BMW pads offered as a kit for BMW Value Line service, packaged with wear indicators...

Value line includes the brake line sensor. I would just get that. I wouldn't worry about it.

Actually I had already gotten them installed at the dealer (Had a $50 off coupon for a $170 "value" service for replacing front pads and sensors, so not a bad price at $120, so I just got it done, and had them flush/refill brake fluid as well).

Because I always check part numbers on invoices, I noticed that the part number had changed and found out that these are called Value Line and panicked a bit, thinking that these were worse than the usual OEM with a different part number.

Thanks for clearing it up, and confirming that these are indeed the usual OE BMW pads.

BTW, what do i need to do to seat the pads well? Do a few hard stops from around 60 MPH? any special procedures?

I don't know about the E46 pads, but on my dad's E60, the value line pads were the same part number as the OE pads
