Here's the big item. I have been following the development of this unit for a year and finally picked it up back in September. No disappointments and the software is being continuously refined. Customer support is excellent.
It's really what an e46 needs to keep it modern and relevant. I particularly enjoyed the Bluetooth music streaming from my phone while controlling it from the steering wheel buttons. It really felt good to not have to have my phone near my hands, which I thought was a safety bonus.
The ODBII dongle (included) will work with Torque app to show you car's telemetry in real time.
The CarLink app allows for mirroring of your Android phone screen to the AVIN screen so you can control your phone by using the touch screen of the NAV. Very cool.
Above all, I enjoyed that the unit looks completely OEM so it would not appeal to a thief. :cigar
The unit was in my car for only a couple of months and is in perfect condition. The screen even still has the protective film on it. The package contains everything you will need to convert your non-Nav column to Nav.

I will provide installation instructions. It takes about an hour to install tops.
