What would be a fair price point for a set of staggered OEM Style 135 wheels with a minor amount of rash on two of the four wheels, but otherwise flawless condition? Shipped? Asking for a friend! :shifty

I paid $350 +ship 2 years ago for a decent staggered set. Some rash on one of the fronts but overall good condition.
I want a spare set too for the winter :shifty

hey alex,
let's work something out on my set if you'd like - i think i am going to move to 17x8.5" apex ARC-8's in the spring. mine are all straight and have almost new M3 rubber. :)

yes, especially in canada. but if you are near a greyhound station you can do a flat-rate for $68.
i sold a $1200 bumper a couple of years ago to a guy in seattle, and i drove it down (across the border) to syracuse, ny and shipped it in one giant box (well-padded) through greyhound for $68. it just barely fit in their under-bus storage, and arrived unscathed! it was worth the 7hr round trip as it more than made up for the shipping savings (it was going to be over $300 to ship it from here).

UPS Ground from their website. It was 2 years ago though so rates have probably increased a bit!

I am no suspension expert, but staggered is supposed to add some understeer (to our powerful chariots so the less talented driver can handle all the power - tongue-in-cheek). It also looks good.
With square you remove that and you get some tire rotation options. I went square.

ultimately a square setup makes more sense as you can rotate tires, and the car will rotate better (less understeer). i don't think our cars have enough power to really necessitate a staggered setup, however i have not tracked my car yet.
you're running a square setup on your winter wheels/tires, correct? i am too but i have a 10mm spacer in the rear, which is kinda like having wider rubber in the back, to a point - but the goal was stability in the snow.

Peter, I have liked the more neutral feeling to the square setup, but you and John are right in the looks department. I miss the "phat" squat to the rear when I glance at her backside...I think I will run staggered with a nicer/non-runflat set of summers and see how she was meant to be before maybe mixing it up farther down the line.

yeah, non-RF tires will be a major difference all by themselves!!

Nope. Most who run a square setup run 4 of the wider rears. The "look" goes away because you run a smaller size tire all around so the squat/phat ass look is no longer as defined. Spacers help but it is not as prominent as having the wheel/tire combo. You can run 4 fronts but it doesn't look as good.

If anybody has a spare set, I'd like to buy a set of relatively clean 135s.
I've got some VMR knockoff M3 CSL wheels and I'd like to go back to OE.
