Purchased new in Spring of '12 for about $900. First version didn't work so hot. Thanks to a nice forum member I got the updated software and maps and it's been pretty good ever since. It might glitch once in a blue moon but then again so does my $1700 MacBook Pro so... Whatever.

Everything is in good condition, comes with everything that originally showed up. Only item missing is the clip for the microphone so you'll have to get by with some creativity in mounting it - not that hard.

If anything else, this is a great audible upgrade from the business cd. My stereo sounded like night and day after installing this.

You'll also need the HVAC relocation bracket.

I'm letting this go ultra cheap here:

$185 paypaled gets it shipped to your door. I'd appreciate gift method of payment (or chase quickpay) for fees paid on the buyers end. You won't be eligible for buyer protection but I think I've been around here long enough and my reputation is at least that I'm honest and not going anywhere soon in case it shows up at your door in a million little pieces.

I'll post some photos later.

Thanks.

Ugh.... I swore off nav units after getting burned in the 540. But at this price, who the hell cares if it dies! Alas, I'm tempted, but must stand strong.

What? $185? Whoa, I might have to take a look at that price. Lemme do some research, as I don't recall what Dynavin does. I want bluetooth, iPod, steering wheel controls, etc. And, what do you mean by the mic clip? Does it have an external mic?

OK. I just looked on their site, and it looks like it has everything. A couple of questions:
1) the mic question I asked earlier
2) the iPod function - is there a special cable or just a standard. Can I route it around through the back or is it only in the front? I have a spec doc in my ash tray and I'd still like to use that
3) It says you need a special cable for steering wheel controls. I have a "connects2" cable that allows my Parrot to be controlled via the steering wheel. Any idea if that works or do you need a Dynavin one?
4) How's the screen quality after all that use?

Thanks.

Thanks guys. Just trying to help out the family, tis the season right?

Rando it has an adaptor that goes to the factory radio plug without modification so steering wheel controls all work like normal. It has an external mic and yes does iPod, Bluetooth and music streaming. The mic had a clip on it to attach to something to hang in a location of your choice, that piece isn't there anymore however and easy remedy is to wedge the mic in the A-pilar gap on the drivers side, should fit there.

Great Seth. You might have a buyer here. LMK about the screen quality (pics or PM, whatever works), and also LMK if the iPod cable goes from the front or rear?

UdubBadger

Cable is in from rear and is typically located with a USB plug in the glove box

Thanks. I spent money replacing my OEM NAV components piece by piece and the NAV still doesn't work consistently. So instead of dumping even more (somewhat) big bucks into it, or into an Eonon, a cheaper NAV system that works is just the ticket to help get functionality and deal with sunk costs (i.e. not spending too much more).

Can't believe I missed this deal. Just picked up a ZHP as my new daily driver last month, and I desperately need something that is capable of playing my iPod. If this unit is still available, I could send payment immediately! Also still interested in the backup camera if the Dynavin is gone.

This is back up for sale. i bought it, but never installed it. I went to install this week, and it turns out that if you already have OEM NAV, you need a Farka cable that you can no longer get. So, I bought one that had the cable too, and now I don't need this. If you don't have OEM NAV, you don't need that cable. Given a little more age but no use, I'll let this go for a ridiculous $150 (paid $185). That's because there are now more advanced units out there now, but you'll pay dearly for them. Therefore, this does it all at a fraction of the price.
