North bay drive on Sunday the 9th

John (otter effect) and I are doing a drive on Sunday. Probably afternoon. Meeting in novato or petaluma and heading toward highway 1. Anybody is welcome to join us. Details are still a bit fuzzy at the moment.

Here is the plan:

1.) Start somewhere in Novato and take Novato Blvd out.
2.) Pass Stafford Lake Park
3.) Left on Point Reyes - Petaluma Road (AKA D Street)
4.) Pass Nicasio Reservoir (stop for photos)
5.) Continue on Point Reyes - Petaluma Road
6.) Take left at bridge 3-way stop to head to Francis Drake Blvd (skipping the town of Point Reyes Station); I just did this route a few weeks ago, it's fun and there were no cars.
7.) Follow Sir Francis Drake Blvd for a few miles
8.) Left at Nicasio Valley Road. This takes us through some really pretty redwood treas. Fun low speed turns in the 15-30mph range.
9.) Right onto Lucas Valley Road.
