Tapatalk Issues?

I have no idea... When I try to use the image upload it says I need a Tapatalk account but when I use the paper clip icon it works...

I've always used Tapatalk and the only time I've had issue is with the previous version which said I needed a TT account to upload any pics... I contacted TT and they said they would fix it with the next update and they sort of did, I mean I can upload pics using TT now but i have to use the paper clip instead of the image upload option, which doesn't make much sense...

So if you look at the pic above, if I select either of the first 2 options it says I need a TT account, but the third option (paper clip) let's me upload pics...

You have to log into ZHPMAFIA and go to the message screen directly. Then your inbox and sent messages are there like before.

I've heard others mention it on the chat and elsewhere but didn't know the latest. Ever since around Christmas or possibly before, Tapatalk continues to error when trying to look at a thread it says, "Network error, please try again later. (get_config) The ZHP Mafia chat works but none of the forums work. I have an android Samsung Galaxy S5 without any other issues. So far to troubleshoot I've Forced the app to Stop and tried again, I've rebooted the phone numerous times and uninstalled Tapatalk and tried again, all without any successful results.

That's what I did. I just had to log back in with my user name and password... all good now

Mine was active with the chat and photo page but, when the site went live, I had to go to the pull down on the top right and log back in.

I keep updating too many threads with this FYI (lol). TT worked fine for me with no mods, went right back into the mafia. No idea why some worked and some did not.

Ya I had that problem with mine. I sent a email to customer support and they said the last update a few months ago addressed that problem. After I updated it went away. Everytime I see an update I'm hesitant. It's like updating the IOS on an iPhone, some issues get fixed but new issues arrive.

Just switched to Galaxy S8 so I think it got dumped on me when I updated everything. Works fine, but more ads. They are inline at the bottom of every post. NO LIKE, but not unworkable. PS S8 kicks azz so far.

That's the version I'm on and haven't noticed any issues. Looks like it's behind the iOS version though.

I’m having issues posting pictures after the last Tapatalk update. Just wanted to post this here. Found this info on the Tapatalk Support Forum.


The image upload problem is a known issue. The fix will be released with the next App update. To work around it, when selecting an image in your album, try not to click on the upper right corner of the image. Click on the center of the image should allow you to attach the image without any problems.*
