So I am still set on swapping to a manual, just looking for the right transmission and the right deal to pop up. If any of you find a good one let me know, prefer a <100k mile transmission. I have the NCS Change Vehicle Order on my laptop from BMW :shifty I just want to price trannys.

No, it has a different bellhousing than the E46 M3 tranny, which I believe would fit if you got a different driveshaft.

Since you have an auto, you'll be swapping driveshafts anyway, so it might not matter as much. I still wouldn't get this one though since it was already used on an E30 engine swap project. Who knows what he had to modify to get it to work. He did mention "the shifter is 3" short", whatever that means.
