I have heard I can upgrade my Nav's software to get rid of the safety warning or at least make it so it times out. I thought about German Audio Tech's version 32 software but they told me their software does not eliminate the nag.
Can somebody tell me what software I need?

The nag I believe is a legal requirement, so I don't think there is a way to do it via software update other than coding it out.

It cannot be removed with a BMW update or code, but it should timeout. Do you know what software load you're currently running?

With NCSEXPERT you can set the timeout to 0 seconds.

Turns out I still have the version that came with the car when new. Version 26 (4-1/60).
If I upgrade to version 32 will the nag screen time out in 30 seconds? If so I wonder why the German Audio tech guy didn't tell me that?

It will timeout. Want to borrow my v32 cd? It's easy to download though, check out xoutpost.com
