So I got bit by the BMW bug again and it's killing me :eeps
The other reason is I am selling my Duramax and purchasing a house in the near future and the less debt and temptation to mod that thing the better.
So my BMW history is pretty lame. I have had a e36 M3 and a 1999 328i beater. I absolutely regret selling my M3, it was a 1 owner vehicle from down south and came optioned with the LTW wheels from the factory and it was the best color ever Alpine White :pimp. The 328 was a junker that put up with more abuse then any other car I have owned with minimal issues.
Here are a few pics of those

And my current Duramax, it makes about 500rwhp currently on the daily tune and is an absolute blast. The only reason I am selling it is for a house and next thing is bigger Twins and then that would turn into a built motor and I just don't need that kind of temptation.

So hopefully you guys can help me find my dream ZHP. I will post up what I am looking for in the Classified section as well
-Sedan preferably but I would settle for the right coupe
-Alpine White, Mystic Blue, Imola Red
-Alcantara or Natural Brown
-6-Speed
-Heated Seats
Thanks again guys and hopefully we can find my dream ZHP here soon!

I miss that car so much, I did so many little stupid things to that car too like Motorsport handles, replaced every gasket. So many little "restoration" bits it makes me sad every time I look at another M3 for sale and it just isn't up to par like mine was. :(

Here she is day when I got her Monday!
Sorry for the flithy pictures. All I did was run it through the car wash.
Within the last year and a half the car has had the following maintenance:
-Upper radiator hose
-Expansion tank
-Water pump
-Serp belt
-control arm bushings
-Rear tail light sockets
-front brakes Pads/rotors
-4 new tires
-Transmission fluid
-Rear diff fluid
Plans are just to get it to near show room condition again and have an amazing vehicle to drive which includes these. I will be ordering it all next week. I want to keep this car OEM+
-Washer Fluid Cap (missing)
-Front control arms
-Both front fog lights and their surrounds
-Valve cover gasket (slightly leaking but I want to do it anyway.)
-Sending the steering wheel to Coby wheel
-Left front wheel bearing
-Refinish all 4 wheels due to curbing. No bends though
-Maybe clear corners?
-Replace both broken grills with OEM ones

The ZHP has 119k on it and yes it is a 1 owner. I work in sales for an Audi dealership and I saw this pull up and told my manager I wanted to buy it when we took it in on trade so I got amazingly lucky! I gave up on the hunt and this one just fell into my lap. I didn't need a car but the price was WAY to good.
The low mile one was a different OB one but with NB interior that I initially was looking to purchase about a year ago but we couldn't come to an agreement.
I will get more pictures of the M3. It was originally from AZ and you can eat off the underside!

So decided I should bring the car home over the weekend and I started doing the interior detail this weekend while my dent guy was not working to make the process as quick as possible.
Started the disassembly tonight. I will be cleaning the seats/door pannels, shampooing the carpets and then treating the leather with a ton of conditioner. Also I am disassembling the whole center console to clean it.
What is the best way to wash/clean the alcantara boots?
Now to the pics.

Sonax or just use a towel soaked in warm water and ring it out. Wipe gently. A magic eraser will also help pull the dirt out. Search for Alcantara steering wheel cleaning DIY.

Fredo, when the carpet fibers are drawn into the suction of the vacuum, it causes them to lay in the direction your pulling/pushing the nozzle. The pattern comes from the way the carpet fibers are reflecting the light.

Fantastic work!
I was very close to buying the AW M3 sedan that you ended up buying from Michigan. How are you liking it? How does it compare to the ZHP?

I love the M3. It is my 2nd e36 m3 and the e36 is just a totally different feel from any e46... it feels much more raw. To be 100% honest the vehicle had a lot more problems then what was disclosed (not sure if this is sellers fault because who knows what he knew) and the clear coat peeling was worse then described and shown in pictures but that is what I get for buying it sight unseen.
I am debating selling it for a coupe in either Techno Violet or Estoril now since everything has been sorted aside from the paint. I have always wanted a TV or Estoril coupe but who knows what I will do.

Looks great! Makes me long for a sedan.
And sell that AW for TV or Estoril. Dooo eet. Alpine is one of my favorite colors on BMWs, but TV and Estoril are above it for me.

Front plate delete filler installed as well as fog light surrounds. The ECS ones didn't fit at all so I paid a whole $4.83/side for OEM ones at the dealer with my discount due to the auto group I work for having a BMW dealer! I am so excited to get the the paint corrected and sealed! I have fallen in love with the Orient Blue!

I love the color. When I got it originally on my '03 330Ci ZSP, I was sort of indifferent (but still in love with the car), but it grew on me. In the bright sunlight its a deep blue with wonderful metallic flecks. In medium/low light it's almost a purple color, and in the dark it looks black.

Waiting for it to get finished with PDR :( It's been there all week. I will report back on how the door turns out.

I have no clue sadly. It's actually the Audi Dealership that I sell at. We are one of the bigger dealers out there though that's for sure.

Ah I figured it was a German indy since they're servicing your BMW but there's an Audi on the lift.

I just had it pulled in there at night after I washed it :)

I should have it back tomorrow from PDR but here is the worst dent... the door handle one. If anyone is in the Twin Cities area and needs PDR work done get ahold of Jake @ Dent Werks off 55 and 494.
He didn't let me down at all!

Hot damn. I'm interested in my fantasy world where I have thousands of dollars to spend irrationally. I do love the color combination and that it has both the Premium and Cold Weather Packages. How many miles again?
Can you give any info on the AW sedan in SF?

Ooooh man, that Techno Violet M3 is gorgeous. Congratulations!

I was going to ask who did your PDR, but I saw that you already posted it! What is pricing like? I need to get quite a few dents popped out of my daily.
Also...I did a double take when I saw your dog. Here's mine shedding like a maniac all over my ZHP:

Also, it looks like your Technoviolet car is already for sale?? What's next??

I would honestly just go up there and have him shoot you a quote. Tell him Chris sent you.
Yeah man they are amazing dogs! Mine doesn't go in the ZHP though.
I am going to sell the e36 M and put some money into the ZHP and get an E46 M3. Then dump the S4 in the spring for an F80 M3.
