Has anyone used these type kits?

My glass has 183k mi on it and is pitted pretty bad--especially noticeable driving into the setting sun.
Kit worth a try or just spring for new glass?

High mileage life!
I'm on my original windshield too and claying mine has done a good difference but it's still showing its age. Personally I don't think I'd waste time with those kits, albeit that Eastwood compound looks to have good reviews. However review #8 dealt with pitting and said it was useless.

shawn, mine is really bad too. it has some strange scratches on it, but mostly pitting - i'm electing to just replace it, albeit at a cost of $550. it's really lousy at night.

Yeah, I'm tempted to try the $50 kit but am mostly thinking it won't help that much. I think I can get new Pilkington glass for <$300.
