Looking to add Angel Eyes to my ZHP. Looked online at Khoalty and Orion V2. AE is new to me so don't know one option vs the other. I believe that Orion V2 options didn't cover my 2005 vert and other sites can be vague on specs. Any suggestions or recommendations? Also, want to upgrade the high beams, low beams, and fogs to increase whiteness/brightness. Thanks.

I have the Khoalty LED Angel Eyes (6000K) in my 2005 Coupe and they are really bright! I believe they are $330 on their website which is insane! I bought them from a guy who sold his coupe and never installed them for $175.

Good to know - thanks. Is your set the same one that is currently on Khoalty's website? http://www.khoalty.com/bmw-e46-led-angel-eyes.html
The project description on the page next to the Helios logo only mentions the 330Ci for 2000-2003.

I'll be selling a set soon. Never installed. I need to open the box so I can remember what they are.

You are prepared to bake your headlights, correct?

I really like my Umnitza V2, but now you can go V4.

Do the headlight assemblies on the coupes really require being baked to install angel eyes? Seems a bit extreme.

Yes. 200 degrees for about 10 minutes worked for me when I did them.

"Coupe Angel Eye DIY" (http://www.e46zone.com/forum/topic/49207-angel-eyes-installation-guide-for-bmw-e46-facelift-03-05/)
Yes you have to heat them up to pull them apart as they are glued together. Don't let this freak you out thou as it's not all that hard to do. I used a heat gun instead of the oven method. Having someone help makes pulling them apart fairly easy. Honestly getting the lights out of the car took longer than installing the Angel Eyes. Becareful on the install as I broke the wires off two of the Angel Eyes. Having to solder them back together really Sucked!!!
Ya these look like the same ones I have. You need to select 2004+ Coupe and Vert.

Yup. Coupes/vert need something to loosen the glue. Sedans can just pop their lenses off.

Looks like Orion V2's with night controller is $200, Khoalty AE is $300, and Orion V4's are $270. Hmmm....decisions.

Why are the khoaltys 200 more for the 2doors?

Don't know. Normal price for the Khoalty's is $129 but for some reason there is a $200 up charge for 2004+ non M3 coupe/verts.

Can't miss with the v2's or the v4's, I love my v2's and get lots of looks and compliments on them.

For pulling them apart, I just get the headlights hot by driving around for a while. Ive had them apart at least 10 times now and its become incredibly easy
