Have what I perceive to be a weird issue with my bluetooth system. People can hear me talking, but I can not here them thru my car speakers. Any insight to what might the cause and or fix would be appreciated.

Try playing with phone function so the paired device (car) takes over audio output maybe. I gave up on mine, too erratic.

We need some more details?

What kind of phone are you using? There is an option to play the audio through the phone sometimes instead of the BT even when paired.

What bluetooth system are you using? OE or aftermarket?

I am using the OEM system and an iPhone 4S

Maybe look up "forgetting" the connection on both sides and reconnecting both?

Verify what generation TCU/ULF module you have. Both my cars have the latest gen TCU modules (13th gen) installed and I have no issues using my iPhone 5S. Perhaps you might have an older gen module? I have never heard of this issue unless someone was pairing a newer technology phone with an older technology TCU/ULF module.

But isn't that almost always the case? My module is probably late 2004 given my car is an 05. My phone is 2013 and BT is wonky. Mind you, when I had a 2007 brick phone, it was just as wonky.
