Hey guys,

I'm new to the forum here, but have been on the search for a ZHP for a little while now. I know my ambitions are high, as the white 6spd coupes are quite rare. But with a community as good as this one, I have faith one could be found haha.

Here are some specifics I'm looking for.

Must be:
- 6 Speed.
- Coupe

Highly preferred:
- Alpine White
- Black Interior
- Well Maintained

Everything else - Don't care much.
Navigation or not, don't mind either way. Don't care if it's silver or black cube. Other small options like heated seats, etc. Don't care.

I'd like to spend right around $10,000. Willing to travel where ever to get it. Again, I know it's a lofty goal but if anyone has any leads or finds any on the Craigslist searches, etc. Please let me know! I'm dying to join the wonderful community haha!

Thanks guys!

Happy hunting. I'd be prepared to pay more than that if that is the only car you will consider. Only 97 of those made.

Holy shit. I didn't realize it was THAT rare.

I still have high hopes in finding one. But I'd definitely consider any 6spd coupes! At least this forum is full of professional Craigslist snipers ;p

Okay, feel free to call me crazy... I want a ZHP more than I want an M! I love my M now, but with M cars come M maintenance. I feel like the ZHP is such a perfect mix of practicality and performance!

Nicest forum in the world haha!

So I dunno if you guys saw, but someone else just posted an Alpine White WTB thread. You know what this means? Now we have to find 2! He said he'd take Auto though, so we can find that!

Good luck finding one for 10k btw alpine is highly sought after, rightly so. Usually in the 14 range.

Very true. And Joop sold his for more than 14 as well. Finding one is the hardest part.

Yeah, we'll see. I'm also considering S2000's but I still would really like to find a nice ZHP!

Yeah don't get an S2k. Hairdresser car like a Miata.

i have to disagree, the S2000 and the miata are pretty awesome cars.

the first-gen TT on the other hand... that's a "hair-dresser's car." i loved the interior, but the actual driving dynamics were not really there. mostly due to the 1.8T engine - which should not be associated with any kind of performance-oriented vehicle.

I rode in an s2000 the other day. Not a bad little car. Lots of mods can be done. Not sure I'd want to take it on a road trip.

Never said it was a bad car, it just seems to be a bit too flamboyant. Questions are usually raised...

No friggin' way. Every person I've seen in an S2000 knows what they're driving and can bet you they're driving it because they enjoy driving it, not because "hairdresser car".

I find the BMW Z3 a hairdresser car, honestly. A lot of people that drive one don't really care that much about driving it, they just wanted "a convertible" (which it technically isn't). I'll bet you almost everyone who drives an S2000 loves driving it and most certainly doesn't drive it for "status".

Lmao! It sure did!

Yeah, I've driven several. It's far from a hairdresser's car. Another thing about me, is I could care so little about status. I simply don't care. I drive an M right now, and don't care that it's an M or a BMW. If I like a car, I'll drive it.

I personally think the ZHP is so much better than the E36 M's and that's why I want one so bad. Seems like a really fun practical car. That I now see happens to have a great forum and community with it. But at the end of the day, whatever car fits the price and fun level is what I'll take.

As shady as it sounds, I'd still do a PPI on it. White coupes are really hard to find to begin with, let alone one with a Natural Brown interior!

Looks like he typed this drunk on his phone haha... Still, with a proper PPI this could be a great purchase! It's cheap!

Stay away...

Not even because of the accident. It's the shadyness of the seller, the odometer mismatch, and various other rust/paint issues with the car that signal poor workmanship and overall deceit.

Got real excited when I saw white with cinnamon interior. Although available on an M, I don't think you could get it on a ZHP. Imagine that on a sedan! I may need some alone time.

Sorry, total thread jack.

It's not Cinnamon, it's Natural Brown. Only the M3 had Cinnamon.
This is the same interior that I put into my ZHP:

That explains the wheel mismatch....

this and he said cash only and that he seemed to be rushing the sale of this car.....something didn't add up...
