This has probably been covered but I am having trouble finding any pre-posted information with my exact question.
Here is my situation. I am buying a 2005 coupe and will be buying a set of Staggard CSL style wheels. Not sure which one yet, but there are several I like. My question is this, the rim sizes are as follows....Front is 18x8.5 with et35. Rear is 18x9.5 with ET??. I will be running 235/40-18's up front and a 255/35-18 in the rear. I need to know a PROVEN OFFSET for the rear that will not rub on the shock tower or the outer fender lip.
I know of a Coupe ZHP with this very setup except he is running 265's in the rear with a lowered suspension and no rubbing. I have no way of contacting him to ask what offset he is running, but i know he has the CSL style wheels. Any help is appreciated and I apologize if this has been covered in another post. I'm a newbie here so l please have patience.
I will post pics of the car when I get it next week. I would love to have the tires and wheels sitting in the garage when I get back from picking it up, hence the urgency.
Thanks in advance.......

Every setup is unique, not all bodywork is identical, especially when you're running fitment close to the limit.

I run a 19x10 with a final offset of ET42 running 265/30s. Clears the shock tower alright, but needed a fairly aggressive fender roll to not rub after I lowered it. I was running a 9.5 in the rear before at ET45, I had plenty of clearance on both sides. You could probably get away with ET45 with no added work down to ET35 with a little fender rolling.

So if the wheel company offered an et40 option, that would be the sweet spot then?

Stock ZHP sizes:
F-18x8, offset 47, 225/40-18
R-18x8.5, offset 51, 255/35-18 tire

Go to willtheyfit.com and plug in the above numbers, then plug in your desired set up to compare.

On my son's ZHP coupe, here's what fits with no rubs, no fender rolling, OEM or coilover suspension:
F-19x8.5, offset 35, 235/35-19
R-19x9.5, offset 45, 265/30-19

Thx for the reply and info. While your sizes are for 19" wheels and tires, it will correlate over to the 18" wheels I'm purchasing. I like the willitfit site. Give this one a try as it has lots of additional info and really nice graphics as well as a side by side comparison. Www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp

Thanks again for taking the time.

Thanks for that site too. Check out the spinning globe at the bottom with "who else is shopping". Pretty cool.
