I may be purchasing this car long distance (through an auction, so I cannot get anymore information), if it's a ZHP. Theres a few things i'm not sure on..
1. It's a sedan with clear side marker, instead of orange
2. The E-brake looks red stitched, aftermarket so mabye the rest of the alcantera is aftermarket also, including the M-TechII bodykit?
3. No ZHP wheels
4. I can't see the gauges in the pictures
This is an 04 model
Can anyone verify anymore? Is this Imola Red?

But it does look really clean

It has the black headliner, which very few people will switch out.
It also has a peeling alcantara steering wheel and alcantara shift boot.
The fuel gauge shows a red needle so it looks like from these pictures it most likely a ZHP.

Looks to have black cube trim inside. Steering wheel has the red time stripe on the top so the boot(s) and wheel could be a product of Coby wheel. Also looks like the car has some angle eyes on it.

But the easiest way is to get a vin of the car and run it to see if it is a zhp. But most likely it is one.

+1 It definitely does look like a ZHP to me though.

Wait wait wait. Why are you buying a 10 year old BMW without being able to go look at it and have a PPI done??? I caution you to think very hard about this. No service history. "mods" (wheels, kidney grills, interior items) might mean the the owner spent money on looks and not mantainence.

That alcantara wheel looks done. And does the dashboard have chunks missing out of it or is it just the picture?!? EDIT: It might be rain drops on the window.

This seems like a really risky move. Might be smarter to find a ZHP that you know has been well cared for, even if you have to spend more. I believe we have some cars for sale on here that were taken really good care of.

"nothing more expensive than a cheap BMW"

Bingo. It is a zhp. Items below verify it.

What is the mileage of the car? Does not look hit either so mechanical or electrical issues?

I don't see the option for red trim on the bumpers and doors :-)

ROFLMAO.

Well, it is an auction car so its a risk no matter what. The price better be damn right :)

139k miles on the carfax, with 41 service records, as for issues with the cars, I have no other information on it

run the vin with any of the car dealers and they will tell you for sure.

Saying having mods equals no maintainence even if you don't have maintainence records is a stretch. It may be safer/wiser to assume the worst, but it's far from definitive.

I agree which is why I made sure to include "might". I have clear corners on my car and it is well maintained

That's a gash in the dashboard above the speedo, right?

Painted trim might indicate body work (or just owner preference). Definitely a ZHP.

I think it might be something (water, etc.) on the driver's window. Hard to tell.

Judging by the state of that steering wheel in that position, I'm guessing something hit the steering wheel and the dash, damaging them... the angle is too much of a coincidence. :dunno

definitely looks like dash and steering wheel damage. also, the wheel is turned and the front wheels are not?

also, shame about the steering wheel - it looks like it has a coby wrap and corresponding handbrake boot.

+1, I totally agree with you, I may be modding my zhp, but I'm making sure all maintenance is done along with it. No amount of mods can outrun proper maintenance.

It looks like the wheel is okay, just a bad picture

Phew, good deal! It always helps having physical access to the car to check it out in person.
