What color should I paint the calipers?

I say leave them. Painted stock calipers I think don't look nearly as good as, say aftermarket 4- or 6-piston calipers. :)

If you absolutely have to, my vote goes for red.

I still think they look better than rust though....

Always liked red calipers but not sure how that would look with Imola Red, so you'd have to get the right red. Many of the posts I've seen on other forums say don't paint the stock calipers because they don't look that good FWIW. John

Silver or Black. Here's the deal... if you do not have brembo style smooth calipers and you paint them red... it just looks like a hack job. Sorry to those that have this setup. The cast calipers have a grainy finish which easily traps brake dust so that hot race car look you are looking for simply cannot be achieved. Black on the other hand just looks better when it get dusty. And silver is simply a bare metal look.

I had them painted in red for 7 years with no problems and they were looking good. Sorry for a bad picture.

IMO I think red should be left to big brake systems. I did my brakes the other week and went with a gloss black. Combined with some akebono's I should have a pretty clean looking setup for some time to come, especially since I just redid my wheels!

Black is technically the smartest choice, in terms of appearance with brake dust. Who actually goes through the trouble of taking their wheel off every time to clean them and the calipers?
With red, you'd have to do that. With black, you can forget about it.

I know how to do that in the browser, but I can't figure out where to do it in Tapatalk- I don't see a url anywhere to press and hold, and if I press and hold on the thread, I don't see an option to copy url.
