I have a set of stock OEM composite pads from the dealer available. Had a brake job performed under warranty, I hated the dust of the OEM pads so I put a set of ceramic pads in the back seat and asked them to install mine when they changed the rotors. They refused, said it would void the warranty, so I accepted their pads and drove home. Then promptly changed the pads from OEMs to ceramic pads. Maybe 20-25 miles on them, price is free just pay for shipping.
Also have a set of composites, Akebano, from the same vehicle. 25K miles on the pads but still 75-80% on the pad remaining. Found out the hard way that when you mate ceramic pads with OEM rotors, the rotors are sacrificed. So replacEd everything with new rotors & ceramic pads a couple weekends ago, remaining pads are just sitting here in the garage. Again free, just pay shipping.
