Just wanted to drop by and introduce myself before going off to post elsewhere in the forum. I picked up my ci in mid-May and have been loving every moment since. I got it with about 99,700 mi on the odometer from a very loving owner.
Here's all that he had done to it prior to me buying it.
• Thermostat housing
• Upper/Lower radiator hoses
• New Radiator drain plug
• New Coolant reservoir tank
• New fluid level sensor
• BMW Performance air intake
• Beisan Vanos seals kit
• New Vanos gasket
• ECS magnetic oil drain plug
• Valve cover gasket
• Oil filter housing gasket
• New accessory & alternator belts
• New NGK spark plugs
• New fuel filter
• New upper/lower air intake boots
• UUC Underdrive pulley kit
• GAS DISA rebuild kit
• BMW cold weather CCV vent valve kit
• New ZHP shift knob & shifter ball bushing
• UUC Big Boy clutch stop
• New Philips 4200k HID bulbs
Since then, I haven't done much aside from a new set of tires. I'm sitting just shy of 104k mi now. I'm hoping to soon swap in the new water pump I have, but I just need to get time some weekend to make the change. As it sits, the car still has the factory clutch installed, so when that does go, I plan on doing a clutch swap, along with CDV delete, and line replacement with a braided line.
Anyways, thanks for building such an awesome wealth of knowledge here! Here's are my cars!
EDIT: I should probably add a bit about myself as well, huh? I'm a mechanical engineering student at Pitt and heavily involved with our Formula SAE team (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Formula_SAE). I'm probably a younger member here, but I'm not new to forums, so that shouldn't be an issue. :D
