Good looking out. Thats insane. Is this a tell as to the rarity of ZHP?

Wow! I wonder if I could use that setup on my non special edition. I might get that kit for the shocks/struts alone.

I priced out the whole kit with Bavauto. Where it would cost $1200.

I really don't know what I will do when the time comes to do suspension. The thing is I love the way it drives soo much now that I am afraid I could ruin what I like :dunno

If that's the case, this kit is great

It would be a direct bolt on.

I noticed that this kit does not include springs.

I think it would fit.

Any recommendations for springs to match this?

Any recommendations for springs to match this?

Either H&R Sports or Eibach Pro-kit.

They would work, but destroy your brand new OEM shocks. If you want to go low, get a set shocks to go with it (like Koni FSD)

This ZHP kit comes with new shocks. So you could remove the shocks from the kit and pick up a set of Konis FSD or Bilstein Sports.

Straight in the description it says this works for ANY E46 (RWD), so you don't have to have a ZHP to get this. Heck, you don't even have to have the Sport package.
Read the description! :)

My rear drivers side shock just started squeaking. Glad there is a nice OEM kit to get. Nice price too.

Acyd...your issue might just be a bad or failing RSM (Rear Shock Mount).

Even if it is, my car is at 105k miles. Really would like to give it a full suspension refresh.

Is there a easy way to check if its really the mount?

It is a quick 10-15 minute job to raise the car, remove the rear shock, and check out the shock mount.

I found I couldn't really tell just by pulling back the carpet in my e30's trunk. But once I removed the rear shock it was evident. The best pictorial I can think of - it looked like a pencil (top of shock) inside of a donut (worn shock mount).

Recommend looking for a good HD shock mount...not just one that is all rubber and no metal.
