Only 38k, looks like a steal

I gave a heads up on this one earlier. Last Fall he advertised it with an overheating problem, then changed his ad to say it had just had a new head gasket, price was above $20K in both instances. Suspect he may have warped the head too because he dropped any mention of the overheating problem or new head gasket and subsequently lowered his price 20% with a mention of service records for the last 6 months. Also, the mileage has remained constant at 38K the last 6 months, he's not driving it for a reason. I would recommend that folks shy away from this one unless they do a full cooling system pressure check but not sure a warped head would show in a static test, it would probably have to be a dynamic test if such a test is viable.

I asked the seller for more information. He said that the engine has recently been replaced, and the carfax he provided showed the car in two previous accidents.

Wow nice homework guys. All of this overheating stuff would scare me away as a buyer. If it does in fact have a new engine, it may be worth looking at

But be wary, is the new engine a ZHP engine or a regular 330?? They look the same.

Probably would have bought without knowing all this.
