Some of you may recall my introduction to this forum:
http://www.zhpmafia.com/forums/showthread.php?12351-New-Member-06-330Ci-ZHP
I'm going to start using this thread as a catch-all for my ZHP, here goes...
A couple of weeks ago, I had the car detailed to the correct the mess the "detailers" at the BMW dealer left behind when I bought it last year.
Bad holograms...
http://i1025.photobucket.com/albums/y316/jfern17/IMG_9163JJJ_zps771de8e6-resized_zpsb147136e.jpg
A two step correction was done, and a CQuartz Finest coating was applied. I couldn't be more happy with the results. The gloss from the coating is off the charts, and it always looks wet!

I really like it!! The M3 is starting to change how I feel about coupes. I still love the sedan but don't dislike the coupe anymore. Anyways looking forward to seeing your progress.

I could not stand the armrest in the car. It forced me to reach for the shifter in an awkward way. I felt it was silly to drive around with it constantly in the upright position, so I did the armrest delete with the "short" console. Well worth it.

The car's not a daily, so whenever it's out I'm having fun! No need to rest your arm then... :cheers

Honestly, I find it more comfortable than the armrest. I think the armrest is positioned too high

The plugs that came out looked in good shape, with a light brown shade on the insulator. No surprise given they only had 47K miles on 'em. Regardless, happy to see the engine appears healthy.

Driving season is over, and the car is in hibernation mode...
http://i1025.photobucket.com/albums/y316/jfern17/IMG_1538-resized_zps6aea3a0e.jpg
Picked up a new daily to replace my winter beater, should be enough to hold me over through the winter months until the ZHP can come out and play again.

Took care of a few things this past weekend. My rear view mirror decided to vomit its caustic guts a few weeks ago so off it went to Sybesma's for refurbishing.
Before:

I was very excited to receive my BlueBus recently, and got to installing it this past weekend. My car came with the SiriusXM retrofit module and antenna, which was using the factory pre-wiring for the CD changer. Since the BlueBus plugs into the car using the CD change pre-wiring, the first step was to remove the SiriusXM module and antenna:
37087
Since I was planning to continue to use the factory Bluetooth calling functionality, the spot that that BlueBus was designed to be installed to was still going to be occupied by the factory TCU. So I decided to install mine in one of the little cubbies that are available in the trunk. I uninstalled the cubby, drilled a hole in the back for the CD changer wiring, and installed a rubber grommet to protect the wiring harness.
37088
Then I drilled two holes in the floor of the cubby to bolt the BlueBus down, and got to installing the BlueBus.
37089
37090
37091
Now the BlueBus is still hidden in the trunk behind the cubby door, but still easily accessible if I need to update the firmware.
37092
Wow, a 4 year update. Also, nice work! Very clean install
