Hi All,

Just Noticed the open registration last week and decided to register. Ran into an issue with my tires and already got some great feedback from you guys. (Just put Conti DWS's on the back)

I snatched the car up from San Francisco around Feb 2013 and drove it home to Portland smiling the whole time.

She's got about 155k on her right now, her favorite food is oil and gas and she loves to run. Needs about a quart of oil every two months and gets about 21 mpg if I'm nice.

I've replaced the a window actuator, fuel pump and filter, cleaned the idle control valve. I had the front window replaced (first rock chip ever on a car a month after I bought her) and had the DME flashed to the most recent version (this made a huge improvement in engine quarks). There was only one day she wouldn't start, but compression starts are only one of the many reasons I buy manual. (Starter had failed, decided against DIY on that one)

Mods are pretty light, just a black gloss grill and 15/12.5 spacers.

As far as it needing oil, any leaks and are you still on the factory ccv system?

No Leaks, No rattle, no vanos updates. I check for a leaking valve cover gasket every time I smell something funny but so far so good. Not sure if those are ccv related though, so I suspect yes, still factory. I've been chaulking it up to her age, I think she just eats a little oil, but I'll check on any common issues I should be looking at. Thanks

The CCV system is know to cause oil levels to go down. If it is still the factory system, it is a good idea to replace/upgrade
