LED's out

Well I discovered I have a row of LED's out. I was perplexed since LEDs don't tend to burn out... Have any of you had this happen? Is there an easy way to remove the taillight to take a look at it?

I have a bunch out on my drivers side... There is a thread about the problem somewhere around here... I haven't had the time to find it. Mine are eagle eyes

I honestly do not know what mine are... how do I check?

If they aren't stock, they're probably Eagle Eyes. They'll say on them though when you take them out.

The eagle eye ones tend to just go out every once in a while. There's a fairly simple DIY here: http://www.e46fanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=880623

Just have to order some individual leds from DigiKey.
