Our beloved 2004 sedan had a broken pulley which resulted in a melt down and we think it will be better to just replace it with another engine with similar mileage. If someone knows of an available rebuilt or undamaged engine, please contact me.

Why not upgrade to S54?

Thank you for the assistance! It's going into an automatic, so I would prefer to keep it as simple as possible and skip the S54. The existing setup has plenty of power, and if I need to plant myself in the seat I can take out my wife's M3 or 335 twin turbo.

car-part.com has decent inventory from scrapyards across north america. Several ZHP engines on there around the $2k mark. There's even a brand new one for $6k :shifty
