Hi,
The name is Fidencio, Fid or JR works as well. I've owned an e46 (01 325i) since March 2013, but I decided I wanted something that I can invest more of myself into. I picked up Monet on 4/27. I was looking for a MT, of course, but Monet was taken care of so well by the PO that I couldn't pass up this deal. At the time of purchase she sat with 75.9k on the Odo. Anyway, she only really needs tires at this point - cooling system, oil, pads and rotors, gaskets, all fluids, FCAB, have been taken care. She wsa meticulously maintained at Irvine BMW.
I'm glad to be here, I'm glad everyone is so much more mature here. Not naming any e46 zealot forums - haha!

This was the day after I had picked her up, so she hasn't been showered with love yet - as you can see, her shoes are very dirty. I'll have to bribe my neighbor into taking some sexy shots of her. After I get new tires I'll probably take care of the egg yolk and reflector.

Thanks, all!
I was wondering.. I want to replace the spark plugs and do the Vanos seals. The VCG was done last year, would it be good practice to replace the VCG and all the grommets while I'm in there again, or would I be okay with torquing down the old one to spec? I suppose my question should really be, should I change the VCG and grommets every time I open her up? Would the seal lose...sealing power?

I think anytime you unseal a VCG with appreciable mileage on it, it should be replaced.
I think if you're going to do plugs, a good "while you're in there" is to rebuild the vanos, whick would most likely require a new VCG (If never changed).

The VCG has been changed twice - according to records. Last time was in 2012.
Thanks guys, I liked it before I joined! - haha. :)
