Would this be way too much negative camber? Will be on H&R Race springs. Not a daily, I only cruise her on nice weekends. What are the pros & cons of running too much negative camber on our cars aside from the tire wear?

Tramlining will increase. Less stability in a straight line.

Why do you think it will go to -2.5 to -3.0? I have H&R race on my 323ci and it is slightly OOS to factory. Nowhere near -2.5.

If you do this without any other changes, you should get less understeer and have a more neutral handling car. Straight line braking power will decrease slightly, meaning ABS could kick in sooner if braking hard in a straight line. You might be able to fit slightly wider tires or use a more aggressive offset (or more front wheel spacer).
Will you have fixed or adjustable camber plates? Or no camber plates?

I'm looking at the fixed camber plates from Turners. Im trying to run a 18x9.5 ET40 265/35-18 squared set up. Rest of the combo will be with H&R Race springs & Koni Yellows all around with fenders rolled. BTW, what's the most negative camber u can get from removing the strut locating pins?

Not much more than stock. Maybe an additional 1° max.

Currently how it sits. Rears have more negative camber than the fronts.

I have a used pair of fixed E46 camber plates from Turner. They're bolted to a set of strut hats, but it's possible one of the strut hats is a bit worn. If you're interested, let me know and I'll be happy to sell them to you at a big discount compared to new ones. You could try them with my existing strut hats or bolt them to yours (requires knocking out the 3 studs in the strut hats to bolt on the camber plates). They gave me about -2.8 degrees up front using stock ZHP springs. They raise front ride height about 3/16" but if you'll be putting on H&R Race springs, you'll probably enjoy that extra 3/16" stack height.
If you pair them with H&R Race springs, your front camber might be -3.0, maybe -3.1.

I know! Soon we gotta hang out & cruise for sure! During the week I have 10-12hr days sometimes & I just feel beat the F up after work! I'm gettin old lol! Then a lot of times on the weekends I'm hanging out with fam in the 415, 650, or 925 areas.
Well, we'll just have to do a morning coffee run/drive if warranted. I know Dario likes coffee and I'm an addict so...

Definitely. Dario should have the ability to do it as well if I don't have my computer setup by then. I really need to get mine setup so I can check what is wrong with my dsc system.

I use ground control camber plates. I get about -3 in the front and -2 in the rear. Tire wear is relatively normal as I wear out the outside from heavy cornering to match the inner.
Tramlining is a little annoying but it helps handling significantly while not hurting straightline braking too much. The extra grip on corners benefits the negligible slower straightline braking.

I'm all for -3.0, just make sure you set toe accordingly (I personally run 0 toe, to a couple minutes of toe out...however if you want to reduce some tramlining go to a couple minutes in).
-3* isn't anything excessive...trust me.
I run -3.6* and daily the car. It drives perfectly fine.

Looks good to me
I have an '04 330i ZHP. I am running a non-coilover suspension, but I am looking for more front camber for trackdays. How much is actually possible with the stock springs?
I see options from Vorshlag, Turner Motorsport, and ECS Tuning. All about the same price. Does anyone have any experience with any of them, or other recommendations?
04' 330i
Stock springs
Bilstein HD shocks/struts
Turner swaybars
Adjustable endlinks
ARC-8 wheels, 255/35R17 Nitto NT-01
5mm spacer
You can knock out the pins in the upper plates and get more camber.
Otherwise you can go with fixed camber plates from Turner Motorsports or spend more for adjustable units.
I figure on getting adjustable plates so that I can run a more normal setting for street driving, and more camber for trackday/auto-x.

Do keep in mind that your alignment will change each time.
My original question remains though, how much camber can you get running the OEM suspension, rather than coilovers?

Do keep in mind that your alignment will change each time.
My personal preference if you plan to do Street and Track camber setups:
1. Align the car with desired street camber and set toe to slightly toe in or zero toe.
2. Mark the camber plate where this is.
3. Adjust the camber plates to desired track camber and note the toe changes (more negative camber, more toe out)
4. Mark camber plate where track setup should be.
If you don't like the toe out on the track camber setup, you can add a little toe in on the street setup to compensate a bit.
My original question remains though, how much camber can you get running the OEM suspension, rather than coilovers?
If you have camber plates you can definitely get your desired -2/-3 degrees. Stock can probably get -1.5 with the pins knocked out in the front.
Thanks, Derek. I appreciate the input.
