Is there any consensus on which power steering pumps ZHPs have, LF20 or the LF30? Some of the parts vendors advertise the LF30 as an upgrade, but then also mention the LF20 has a higher effort pump.
Without having to tear the car apart, and climb underneath, does anybody have any traction on this?
Just educational information, btw.

Rob and/or Justin, did you just replace one at the meet? or was that the filter and something else?

We just did the fuel pump and filter.
But the LF20 is from the 323/328 variants. The early 325/330 had some over boosted pump that I don't know the model number of. And I believe the chassis finished with the LF30 as standard, regardless of package. It would be easy however to lift the car and pull the splash shield.

Was doimg some cleaning in the engine bay and took a closer look at the PSP, looks like it is a LF20.
I wonder what type pump the M3 runs, since it is also has a different PN. I am guessing only the pump mount to block is different, but don't know. Just weighing the options.
