I know a lot of you guys run these tires - is it just me or do they seem a little bulbous? At least the rears to do me.
Maybe it's because they're new and my prior tires were totally worn out?
Michelins tend to be a little larger than other brands.

Try running a smaller tire. Personally I run an larger than stock size

A 255 from one brand will be slightly wider or narrower than that of another brand. It happens. My Bridgestones are a little wider, too.

odd, as i run PSS on my A4 and i thought they were a little narrow compared so other brands of the same size (225/45/17).

Thanks for the replies everyone.
My prior tires we're also Michelin's (an older set of Pilot Sports), also 255 in the rear, but the sidewalls didn't seem as bulbous and tall as they do on these PSS.

It's a result of aging, lol.

I found my 275 PSS to run a little narrower than the Bridgestones I had before... but my 245 fronts run a little wider. I wouldn't worry about it -- Michelin says it'll work fine with that wheel width, and that's all that really matters. You'll get used to the look in a couple days.

Probably also depends on what end of the rim width range you're running for that tire size. I have 265/30/19 PSS in the rear, they looked a bit bulbous on the 9.5", but mounted to the 10" (high end of the range for the tire size), they have a nice taper towards the center that gives some much needed clearance near the fenders:

Can you take close up pics of what they look like on stock rims? I am going to get these tires when my awful Kumhos wear out and am curious to see what you mean.
