WTB (Help me find): E46 M3 side mirrors

Alright folks... I'm looking to do the M3 mirror swap. After installing Devlin's mirrors, I've realized the look is too sexy, I need to have it. So, I'm looking for some.

Here's the catch.. I'm not concerned with color or cosmetic condition... I'll be trying to use some parts from the M3 rep mirrors I already have...

Looking to see what anyone has, or maybe what you've seen on your local Craigslist...

I'm looking for deals, as I'll probably be doing a set of frankenstein mirrors...

What's the difference between M3 reps and real M3 that would make you want to swap?
I have empty M3 shells... No bases though.

M3 reps are bigger similar to the m5 mirrors. There is a lot of info on that on e46f. They look like elephant ears.

Same here. By the time mine are repainted (again), plus the euro wide angle glass I'll be over $1000 on them

Ok folks, I apologize that it has taken me so long to reply. Work on the ship has been freaking ridiculously busy to say the least, along with a few other things that have happened out here. In addition, we hit a storm coming South from Alaska, so our normal 7 day run to Long Beach has turned into 9. And bad weather usually interferes with our satellite, so our internet/phone connection has been flaky at best.

Aaaaaaanyway... I appreciate the help. I just now have been able to view the CL ad on my laptop and fire off an email to the guy... *edit* I don't know if the email went through...

Ok, well, hopefully I can get my hands on that set. I decided to just bite the bullet and buy them, and then try and recoup some of the cost by selling what I don't need. So anyway, I really thank you all for the help. Its so freaking hard to do anything out here, especially when our connection sucks!

Yeah hard to text from 200 miles out at sea. Although his number did register with iMessage, I was just last night able to get a message to go through to him. Color confirmed, A08. I will talk to him again today, we should be in port by 3pm local time.

I would agree they were in great shape just the wrong color. ;-).

I did luck out though and when my car was in the shop for the accident the body shop painted the mirrors Imola at no cost.

I had a lead on a couple of m3 housings, but something came up for the lender (just need to borrow a set for a couple of days) so if anyone has a set they could loan/mail to me, I'd greatly appreciate it. Lemme know!
