So idiot me tried to refill my power steering reservoir without a funnel. Let's just say I spilled a liberal amount (about 1oz) over the sides of my reservoir. It dripped onto the oil filter housing and other random little parts. So far, I don't think any of it reached my belts.
Should I be ok? Or does this mean I have to take the engine bay apart and clean up what I spilled?

Unless you spilled a bunch on the alternator, you're fine. Clean what you can and be done with it.

ATF is a super good detergent :)
Just wipe it all up the best you can

Don't mind the smell. I kinda like the smell of ATF :)
But I did spill a bit on the alternator. It's hard to clean down there so I'll just hope for the best. Thanks for the replies.

Can you attack the surrounding area with a bit of brake cleaner? That sometimes helps clean the impossible to reach areas.

Don't worry about it.
When the wonderful people from BMW forgot to actually put the cap back on my power steering reservoir, I was blessed with everything dumping all over the engine bay floor. And this was in my Z4M

Good to know. I will just pick up some brake cleaner on my next trip out to home depot or something.

BMWs leak P/S fluid everywhere anyways. You will be fine. :rofl
