You can actually put a cup in it and slide the cover to hold it in place. Also a good place to hold sunglasses, etc. I also have an "ultimate" cup holder. I'll probably put this in Colin's car win I swap the interiors this summer. He has one now, but it's sand colored.

When I get one I think I will keep my cup holders in the trunk. Just incase.
