Not mine. I confirmed the tranny with the owner.

I cannot believe the cost differential between manual and auto zhp's. This thing would get $15k all day long with a manual

I'd be tempted to get it if it was an MT.

I contacted the owner last week to get more details. Owner was upfront about the salvage title but didnt answer any of the other questions about mechanical condition and maintenance records. If it sounds to good to be true....

My son works in that general area and he may be able to check it out, if anyone need him to.

Good catch ELCID86! This guy should have listed it was a salvaged title car. It sounded too good to be true.........

You and 50 other people lol

I laughed, but then yesterday happened and I had a sadz.

Don't know if anyone else caught this, but I did. Someone posted a 2003 330i ZHP, 6mt, IR/Al, 75k miles for $10.5 on Craigslist/Sacramento somewhat before noon, yesterday. Looked tight in the photos that I saw (which, true enough, could mean nothing, but I was very interested, at least to start).

I saw the ad around 4 (while at work) and thought, "OMFG, I'm going to call on this one as soon as I got home!"

Sent myself the listing and pulled it up as soon as I was home to get the guy's phone number, and it was already gone, showing as "removed by author".

Unless there was some sort of mistake (and it hasn't reappeared since), it sold in an *afternoon*.

:crying
