Hello, I have been reading the form for a few weeks and just joined. Great stuff here!

I have a 2004 ZHP and my main issue is that when I turn the steering wheel back and forth while stationary or low speeds there is a quite audible grinding or rubbing noise. The previous owner did lower the car an inch and said he never heard it.
I do notice it is louder the colder it is. (Not sure this matters)

By the way, I bought it a week ago and never heard it, but again it was a warm weather west coast car and I am in the Midwest, that is why I am curious if the temperature has something to do with it. The road trip was awesome to get it home... 21 hours!

I am going to have it checked out this Friday.

I tried to do a search already.

Thanks for any ideas in advance.

Check the strut mount bearings. Squirt some oil into them to see if it quiets the noise.
