If you need shocks, Konis can be had for cheap right now. 25% off.

I have 60k miles on my yellows and they still work perfectly. Excellent compliment to the ZHP.

Where at Shad? Do they have E21 yellow, orange, or red available? I have heard red struts are the only things in production right now besides the silver's they make for Ground Control

I saw a 10% off Konis at ECS Tuning for March, but would be curious about the 25% off too.

Tire rack has the FSD and Yellows on sale. KONI customer service told me you could buy direct too. I got mine from importrp.com and they are showing the discount in their pricing.

In a quick search, I pulled up at total price for Koni yellows of $616.46 with ECS Tuning, and $624.52 with Tire rack for a ZHP sedan. Total price from importrp.com looks to be $568.16!

EDIT: Actually Bavarian Autosport totals up to $536.84, so a bit less then all of the rest. If anyone sees them cheaper, please post!

importrp was showing those prices (or maybe even less?) last week. Now Tire Rack is only $2 more than IRP. They both offer free shipping. *massages itchy mouse finger*

I've had the Koni yellows on my 944 and loved them. I have the Koni reds on my 911, but haven't pushed them yet. Jason Burkett at Paragon Products (no affiliation, just a very happy customer for 15 years) is considered to be "Mr Koni" and delivers GREAT service and knowledge - he's a real car guy. Although they don't show yellows for our cars on their site, I'm sure it would be worth the call. Their prices are always competitive, and I believe they will match/beat any legit price.

I've got 65k miles or so on my Koni Yellows on my ZHP. I just took the rears off a few weeks ago to stiffen them up (fronts are top adjustable, so EASY). They still have excellent compression and rebound, and the adjustment mechanism works perfectly still. And the best part about it is, when they do finally wear out, all I have to do is send them back to Koni for a free rebuild. Lifetime warranty baby!!!

Smolck, so do all of the yellows on the e46 have to come out to be adjusted, or can you adjust the fronts from the top?

TC Kline used to offer top adjustable rear Konis for about $150 extra each. Honestly, with practice I have it down to about 30 minutes to make the change on the rears. But if you have the scratch, top adjustables would be nice

I think all the Koni single adjustables struts are top adjustable. Maybe a few double-adjustable struts have the 2nd adjustment on the bottom. My rears are actually Koni SA Series 30 monotube shocks. I have to disconnect top or bottom to adjust them, but don't have to remove them from the car because they are not "compress to adjust."

Yea, the twin tube yellow rears have to be compressed. Not too bad, but still an issue.

I'm running FSDs with prokit springs and love them. Did a full suspension refresh along with them but the stance and ride is better than stock. Took a while to break them all in, and didn't realize how good it rode until I drove a 2013 328 as a loaner car (new at the time) and my car rode better on these crappy inner Houston streets. Didn't want to fuss with the settings, so I chose these. Fully rec them.

interesting, thanks for the info. i've read mixed reviews about them, good to hear a positive BMW-owner endorsement.
