Our parking situation is getting pretty dire (we have over 200 summer interns), so when I find a spot in the garage, I take it. I've spent over 20 minutes after lunch on some days just circling the lots looking for a space. I won't compromise parking in the sun on 100°+ days, so it takes some time to find some shade sometimes.

My guess is that it was a little kid blasting out of the car (and slamming the steering wheel at the same time). As you can see, we have a lot of thoughtless little kids around this part of the country. I'm always thinking the worst!

I"ve only bounced off the curb twice in my car. One was I was zoo excited to get Bubble Tea...yes...bubble tea if you guys even know what that is....google it. :P The other time was I was too tight in my winning apex that the back end was suddenly adjusted into the right angle of attack after hitting at 25mph. LOL

It is a heat/protection factor. If the top is down and I'm parked in direct sunlight, I will tilt BOTH seats forward at times. And I should add, very much into LCSM.

Funny thing is I have to goto the airport today so I drive to my aunt's house to leave my car there and she drops me off since she's so close to the airport...yay free parking! But she says, "What?? You're going to leave your BMW outside in my driveway for 7 days? I can't have that...you can park inside and I'll park outside for the week." I love my aunt!

My dad did the same thing for me....my car was sitting in the driveway awaiting going to the indy shop and he called me and told me "hey took my car out and moved yours in to the garage cause there is a really bad storm coming"

Later the next day he called and said that a huge limb from the trees had fallen right where my car had been sitting....i then proceeded to take him out to lunch the next week when i saw him :)

I got a ding on my 335 yesterday. Parked near no one. I was sitting in the car when it happened. A simple ding but the guy is paying for it. No paint transfer. But this is why I park in the middle of nowhere.

When I get home I will post a pic of one of my spots yesterday.

Dings, by the way, infuriate me. Makes me realize how little respect people have for other people's property.

Had great waldo parking (complete opposite side of where I was exiting the building) but immediately 2 cars pulled in close. The good news was my waldo space was in a corner so while no one parked next to me (whew), I would have still been safe cuz I was close to the line on the wall side.

edit: just read your sig. how did you do your "no holes" license plate? My fathers car was from pennsylvania where it didnt need front plates and now we do need front plates. I personally dont like the idea of drilling into a bumper so maybe I can convince my dad to do it another way.
