Not a fan of his stereo deck....and as Bruce said "needed an engine because???" I would say that's a big red flag right there.

As for pricing....it appears that this BMW is worth $19,700 he is asking for (to him) but unfortunately for him he has to find a buyer who is willing to pay his asking price.

If I were selling my ZHP or ///M the price I would ask would most likely cause others to think I'm smoking something good so I can understand.... hope he realizes that either he will be waiting a long time to sell his car at that price or maybe he might get lucky and find a buyer willing to buy the car at that price....anyway GLWS :thumbsup

Oh ya, to me, my ZHP is worth at least 20k but then I woke up. :)

Being from Denver and looking on craigslist often for a ZHP, I recall this being listed many months ago too. Apparently it never sold and it's been re-listed. And it appreciated in value.

Wow. 10k for a new engine from BMW. Or are they rebuilt?

I remember this car. It's been FS before.

The new engine is a nice thing, for sure. Don't underestimate that. It's a possibility for a clean slate to anyone that cares for it.

I'd say this is a $16,000 car under the right conditions with the right buyer.

Fair market price, I'd be asking $15,000.
