Long time, no see

Hello gentlemen!
Just wanted to say hello. It's been about a month since I was on here. I ended up selling the ZHP and I picked up a 2013 Passat 5 speed with 10k miles on it. CPO lease-end from last year. The payment is about $110 less a month than my beloved E46.

However. I picked up an E36 M3 last weekend. I could not be more in love. I have wanted one of these cars since I knew of their existence. My middle school dream has come true. I'll post pictures pretty soon and I'm going to keep a build thread on here for those of you who love E36s as much as I do.

The Passat is Tungsten Grey metallic and has the tan and black two-tone interior. I ordered the Tiguan wheels for it; 19x9s, called the Savannah wheels, and I'll probably just put it on springs. 19s sound huge, but it comes with a 215/50/17. It's like riding on marshmallows. If I decide against the 19s once I get them, I'll go to 18s from the V6 SEL Passat.

As for the M3, I've been in touch with Technique Tuning in Florida and Integrated Engineering in regards to making a boosted M3 with power down low. I want to use a 9:1 piston for a little more low end punch and moderate levels of boost. I've never been about a powerband at 4,000rpm to redline. The M3 currently has the fan delete mod, new poly bushings in the front end, the rear shock mount upgrade, and I just received the UUC Evo 3 short throw shift kit with a DSSR selector rod, new differential bushings (stock ones), and an axle seal. It also needs a rear main seal, and a few other maintenance items. The fan delete mod needs to go, as I'm going to be putting a lot of extra heat in the engine bay; I want a new fan clutch and new fan as long as the stock switches and thermostat. The mod is cool, but I'm not sure I'm comfortable with it. The car also has a vibration at idle, so I'm assuming idle control valve and a fresh tune up is in order. That, or I need to replace more bushings and mounts, haha. Stay tuned, gents! They build thread is going up on here.
