If you don’t know what the ZHP package is, it is the code for BMW’s performance package which is above the ZSP (sport package). This package was created to please the US market since BMW did not offer an E46 M3 sedan. There are many factory ///M parts on this car, no need to upgrade anything on this car, BMW took care of it. This is one of the fastest 4-door BMW’s made until the E90, not your normal E46.
Some of the Factory upgrades includes reprogrammed engine management, hotter cams, a six-speed manual gearbox (a first for a non-M 3-series BMW), and a shorter final-drive ratio-3.07:1 versus the 2.93:1 rear end used in the base 330i with manual transmission.
The suspension components are a stiffer than the setup in the base 330i, and the Performance package gets an 18-inch wheel-and-tire combo versus 17-inch wheels on the standard version.
Performance-package 330i sprints to 60 mph in 5.6 seconds and covers the quarter-mile in 14.3 seconds at 97 mph.
This car doesn’t compromise performance for luxury, it’s loaded with both!!
Tons of exciting info here: http://www.zhpmafia.com/forums/content.php?30-Frequently-Asked-Questions-(FAQ)-About-the-BMW-E46-330-ZHP-Performance-Package-Option

The good 
-BMW Performance Exhaust
-Drilled Zimmerman rotors all the way around
-Stoptech pads all the way around
-Khoalty Angel eyes
-Aux input+USB power
-Illuminated ZHP knob
-I’ve never dropped the clutch in this car, it’s been babied
-No accidents
-Black Kidneys
-LLumar tint
-Clean Title
-Lots of maintenance (ref chart)

The Bad 

Cosmetic issues include:
-Some busted plastic on center armrest console
-Headliner, a little loose in rear, it’s been pinned down
-Clearcoat on roof is spidering 
-Few other paint blemishes, normal for a 10 year old car
-Small tear in Alcantara on driver’s seat
-Steering wheel Alcantara isn’t in the best shape, no rips or anything. It’s been leather wrapped for a few years to limit wearing
-1/4 inch nick in leather on rear passenger door

Mechanical:
-Needs LCAB replaced, car floats a bit at high speeds
-Recent P0175 code, could be dirty MAF or Air filter, Has a CAI down to brake duct, dirty dirty, I plan to go back to stock, this could resolve code as well, will update later
-Vanos needs to be done, noise and a little stutter
-Some noise/rattle from the clutch, this is normal sound for ZHP’s as they have a lightened flywheel. I’ve been driving it like this for 5+ years without an issue
-When it rains the directional and or brake light warning comes up, they still work fine and the light goes away after 5 minutes, I’ve never bothered to investigate the cause
-Airbag light is on, passenger side sensor is bad, I tried a DIY fix, but haven’t taken it to get the light reset
-Front driver side woofer is bad, I have/will include the replacement speaker. I cant notice a difference in the sound so I have not been motivated to put in the good speaker

Personally as someone who is in the market for a car this price...the miles scare me a little bit, but more so the rattle. Not because I want everything to be perfect but because I would be driving it back to Wisconsin.

The vanos rattle wont effect reliability, but I agree it is scary to buy a used car then drive through unknown towns in an unknown car. I did it once with a '74 2002 but, I got lucky and made it home.

Totally, plus Ive found about 4 zhps today (I've gotten very good at finding them lol) and i'm very new to this site and have a feeling I am going to upset a lot of people but I think it is a bit over priced for the mileage compared to the ones I've been finding and their condition. Im by no means saying I'm right because I'm still a rookie with zhps, so this a personal opinion based of my findings. I don't want to loose any friends over this post because I have come to check this site so much and found it so helpful in my car buying search so take it for what it is.

No harm no foul. Condition and price are all relative/subjective. I kept looking until I found cars in my price range with reasonable maintenance history, etc.

Ive been seeing the same thing with the prices. They have been dropping as more and more ZHP's are going on the market. I appreciate the input. Dont worry about upsetting people, if they cant take it, then you probably dont want to deal with them anyways.

Don't blame you one bit. Just remember a well maintained car means miles are just a number :)

Car is worth whatever a buyer and seller agree to, period. When doing a long distance purchase spend the money on a through PPI.

Service records are good but don't tell you the whole story.

Before you go retrieve the car be sure to have some kind if roadside assistance coverage. It is worth the expense. In an unknown car plan your trip so you travel during daylight. You can always adjust your schedule as you get comfortable with the car.

Good luck.

I think most people are afraid to buy our cars (with some mileage on them) if they have any "problem" areas. I have seen that with the few people that have looked at my car. Granted, I am not actively trying to sell it like you are, but just throwing my $0.02 worth out there.

Agree. Also, I think people are scared of the actual mileage too. Some people have it in their head that once a car hits 100k miles or something that it is crap. Well this is not true especially with a well maintained machine like a BMW. It is hard to sell a ZHP because it requires a specific buyer (usually). But I will spread the word to a few friends to try and help you sell your car! :)

For the mileage you have a car that has been maintained very well :thumbsup I purchased mine with 105k for the same price you're asking for on your car...the difference being you have a full maintenance history on your car, mine didn't.... if I were in the market for a car just like yours, I wouldn't hesistate buying this for the record :thumbsup GLWS

Bumping the price down to $8500 for this car....someone needs to buy it like soon! This is a great price for a car that has been maintained!

Thanks for the thoughts guys..... I agree about it being a special buyer. Most people who just want a BMW will buy a 325 for $5K. We will see how it goes.

The puppy is not for sale :) But whoever buys the car gets a free cuddle session.
