Enthusiast car.
AW over NB, yum (even though I'd be curious to see the quality of the custom interior).

Did I miss it? If so, I apologize for starting an unnecessary 2nd thread ...

I never posted it here. Interior isn't custom, I swapped an oem natural brown interior into the car.
I have a deposit on the car, pending results of the ppi that took place this morning.

My bad, I wasn't sure from the description what you had done. Did you document how you did it in a thread somewhere, I am deeply in love with an NB interior ... and deeply despairing of ever finding a ZHP I want that has it, so I'm curious about the swap ...
[edit] And, of course, GLWS!

test?
[edit] Nope. My profile pic shows fine in my setting page, but not here ... hmm.
[edit2] Ah. Avatar does it.

Thanks.
I did not document a DIY unfortunately as it was 5 degrees and I was pressed for time when doing the swap. There are fantastic DIY's out there however. If I can find the one I used the first time I did the swap, I'll send it to you.

Looks like you found a DD, Bill. Your Sig states a 2007 530xi. Nice!
Sad to see it go. Your Mystic Blue sedan was still my favorite.

The 530xi is actually my wife's interim car. We got rid of the Honda Odyssey. The deal was great on the buying and trading end, and I pulled the trigger. The goal is to find her a sub $30k CPO X5 or Q5 in the spring when they are less in demand. I bought the 530xi cheap enough that I can trade it in without losing money towards the SUV. Alternatively, I may daily drive the 530xi - undecided at this point, but I like to keep my options open ;).
That mystic blue was my favorite ZHP by a landslide. I honest to God tried to cancel the sale multiple times, unsuccessfully of course....

Well the sale fell through. Officially starting my new job in NYC on Monday.
I invested a ton of time and effort into the deal, hoping to have it complete ahead of my new job. Would have been nice to have one less distraction on top of the fact that I'm going to have much less free time.
With that said, I'm going to hold onto the car for now. I will be able to get more money in the Spring anyway....

Charlie - I have an extra set of the fold down rears in natural brown - not an easy retrofit, but certainly doable, especially with some of the projects you've done! Heated seat retrofit can be done for $500 - $600 all in. ;)
