NOVA Cars and Coffee meet-up?

Have any of you ever attended the Saturday event at http://katiescarsandcoffee.com/ or Sunday's at http://kohlscarsandcoffee.com/ ?

Perhaps we could plan for a meet-up when the weather is a bit warmer?

Jon (Au2bahn) was a regular attendee when he had his ZHP and think Stuart displays his Wagone occasionally. There's supposed to be lots of exotics, you have to get there about 0530 to have any hope of getting a spot in Katie's parking lot, otherwise park across the street and come spectate. Good thing is its done by 0930 and then you have the rest of your day back.

According to Daniel/NovaPhotog, you have to get there extremely early if you want to park in the lot. He and some friends have started an adhoc get together as well. I guess they keep it on the down-low :shifty

Katie's is awesome, but I was recently put in "charge" of the Kohl's Cars and Coffee photography/facebook page so I must say if you don't feel like waking up at the crack of dawn that it is a good alternative.

I was there. Very good turn out. Maybe over 20 M5's showed up. I was there only ZHP along with a few M3's.

FYI,

Fair Lakes Car & Coffee on Sunday AM (in front of Kohl's) got canceled in early June. The property management company (Peterson Management) that manages all the buildings in Fair Lakes Circle shut it down.

Is this thread still active? I'd be interested in upcoming GTGs. I hit Katie's a couple of times when I had my LeMans, but you have to get there REAL early else you're out of luck getting a decent spot. Is there a regular group of BMW folks that goes there?

What about other GTGs in the DC area, BMW or other?
