Well, it's snowing in KC with 11 inches expected, so everything is closed naturally. As many of you know, I recently got my ZHP as it is my first car.It came from Florida, so this is it's first time seeing snow! BTW to you guys who responded to my heating issues thank you, we got it fixed and it was not the heater core. Here are some pictures, the ZHP is happy. Now back to coffee and shoveling... :roundel

White ZHP in snow. Winter camo edition!

So what was the heating issue, for people who might have the same issue down the road? Inquiring minds want to know.

I don't have any either :) I need some though. Keep your eyes peeled for Craigslist listings and always check the section on here too. However, if driven slowly and with caution she can get around plenty good.

I have summer tires on currently..:eyetwitch I will get some winters for next year though! Thankfully we do not get very much snow here in terms of actual measurement. How about you?

Garry, you best park that thing. The current storm will make driving on summer tires very tricky. My wagon on Pilot all seasons was sliding around pretty. I'm sticking with the cars with snow shoes for the next couple days.

Measured 13 inches here at the house (Olathe) the wife's escape just shrugs it off though it's a beast in this stuff. My car however will remain in the garage for another day or 2.

That's where they belong :). They like staying warm and dry. They are spoiled.

I am not in the garage since my dad is driving his land rover daily and the 840 is in the third car garage :) Are you a KC BMW Club member? You are ZHP #2 that I know of in this area.

Yup I've been to a couple track days and events of theirs. There are 5 that I have seen semi regularly in the area one being an Imola Dinan around the corporate woods area

I am over by Blue Valley Rec area. Never seen the Imola one. sounds cool. Coupe or Sedan? I think if the snow clears up enough I am taking my ZHP to the annual banquet at Baron.

The Dinan is a sedan with black wheels. When's the banquet? I'm not very active on their forum.

Photo from shoveling for the third time last night in Olathe, with my Subaru taking the brunt of the storm so the ZHP can stay warm and comfy in the garage. My fiancee swore when she wanted me to move down here from Nebraska, that this was "the Tropics". Not by a long shot. It's 8 degrees outside as I type this at 3:00 in the afternoon.

Oh, BTW, I've got a full set of 135s I'm supposed to be getting cleared out of the garage. Maybe we should talk

Really? Yeah send me a PM. Are you a CCA person too? So far I am the only ZHP that will be at the First Saturday get togethers at the Panera by Baron.

Yeah, I'm a CCA member, technically. Only been in the KC area for about a year and a half, and I've been working full time and going to school full time, too, so I haven't actually been active at all. Have the best intentions about getting more involved, this seems to be a pretty good BMW town. My current work schedule is 6:00 to 2:00 on weekends, so my presence at the first Saturday events isn't going to happen anytime soon, I'm afraid.

I'll shoot you a PM on the wheels.

Ah, eventually. They are kinda cool, we do many drives through out the year. My dad and I took his 840 to the Weston one which is a really fun drive. If you ever get time check it out.
