Hi All,
I wanted to share the results of my xenon headlight retrofit performed by LightWerkz. I've been dealing with dim headlights for quite some time now. I tried rectifying the problem by swapping out the bulbs twice to no avail...I then turned to ZHPmafia.com and discovered the ZKW burnout problem which rings true for my case as shown below

After careful consideration I decided I didn't want to try the couple of DIY fixes that others have tried because I don't have the workspace or time or patience to find the right parts. Obviously I don't want to buy brand new headlights either, too expensive. Since my car was in the body shop for repairs due to a minor parking lot collision I asked the body shop to pull the lights out for me (labor charge) so I could mail them to LightWerkz for a retro fit.
I emailed LightWerkz for an estimate, Caesar was super quick to give me one and did an awesome job getting the FX-R Bixenon Projectors installed and shipped back. It was a pleasure working with LightWerkz and the cost was really reasonable.
Results: I'm completely satisfied with the retrofit...let there be LIGHT!

Depending on shipping times (LightWerkz is in NJ) and their current project workload, it only took them 2 days for me. I recommend giving them a heads up that your headlights are coming and verifying with them on the turn around time. The shipping times is the majority of the wait.

Here are a couple taken with the iPhone5, when I get some time I'll take some better pics.

Lightwerkz is a really good company to work with. I've sent a couple feeler quotes and without delay Cesar responded as if I already sent money for the bill, answering any question I had in full, detailed responses.
Glad you're happy.

Running this on my car (PO did it 3 years ago) - they're fantastic.

No the lenses are a couple years old at this point, I got them from Bavarian Auto and when I did I got their clear film protectors and put them on when I put the new lenses and clear corners on. As you can see they've held up exceptionally well. When inspected closely there is a little debris built up under the edges of the corners but the headlight lenses are solid between the film and the lenses.
Next up on the list are clear Euro Taillights to match the front of the car.

Nice! I just did a projector retrofit yesterday on mine and its so nice to have actual headlights again. DIY is very easy, minus the fact I'm terrible at not breaking tiny plastic clips.

Awesome! I just had this done in September and agree - Caeser/Lightwerkz do great work.
My passenger side bowl was actually just fine, driver's was noticeably burnt but not like OP's. Even so, the FX-R light output & cutoff is much better than what I had.
Highly recommended to anybody considering it, especially if your light output is really poor.

Eric: Do you have "after" pics of your lights after LightWerks retrofit but before installing them in the car?
QC_ZHP, which kit did you use? I'm considering a TRS retrofit kit for E46. Also considering the refinished ZKW bowls solution advertised in this forum.

I used TomTom's DIY : http://www.zhpmafia.com/forums/showthread.php?10787-DIY-The-Retrofit-Source-%28TRS%29-Retro-Quick-System-Burnt-ZKW-Bowls-Projector-Retrofit
I wound up using my stock shrouds. The e46 value shrouds just looked very cheap so I fitted my old ones. They are a bit burnt at the top so there's some yellow at the top of the headlight output. Currently trying to source some OEM shrouds. But for $150 and about 4 hours on a Saturday, no complaints.
