Just curious. I currently have sitting in the garage a squared set of Miro 112s 18x9.5 ET40 & Nankang 265/35ZR18s. I've been thinking it'll look hella sick & bring more confidence around the twisties, but maybe a little overkill huh? I may just get a front pair of 18x8.5s & do a staggered set up.

Do you have camber plates? That sounds like it's gonna rub

Wider in front won't always help. Too much rubber can be a bad thing.

Yeah I think I got a lil too excited looking at GunMotos E46. He's got tons of suspension work on his car plus fender rolling/cutting. I'll most likely go just go staggered with an 8.5" front set. Doubt I'll be tracking the car, but I do love some spirited drives thru the twisties.

265 is definitely excessive for our cars. at 18x9.5 +40, the rim should be sticking out a bit too and rubbing if you are lowered.

Just an FYI, I have 265's on my stock rears, stock suspension, no spacers, and I rub when pushing the car hard in the corners

On the front JP?

No, rears. Front definitely would rub without camber plates
My shocks are original so the dampening is probably not perfect which doesn't help. I'll deal with suspension soon, first I need to finish up my E21 and get it back on the road

Oh okay. I thought you were rocking rear rims on the front. I was about to say haha.

I do have an extra pair of rears, but I'm still rocking staggered. I actually want to buy tires so I can install my style 23's I have in storage

BMW contours?
Rears in the front clear the 135i bbk without spacers. FYI.
I would stick to 255/ all around. I don't have issues with that size.

Which rears, the style 135 18x8.5 or the contours (or both)?

Ahh sorry. Style 135 rears will clear 135i lol.

Got it. I also have a pair of 264 front so those will definitely clear

Would 255's on the 9.5" rim be better than a 265? It wouldn't be stretched lookin would it?

I'd go with 265. I'm running 265 on my factory rear wheels

Honestly, your main issue is 9.5" wheel on the front without major suspension work

I have 265/35/18 on my stock rears with stock suspension, no issues. I wouldn't run that on the front though... my problem is I have 225s in the front and it makes me very very sad :( Need to replace those.
