Hello ZHP Mafia, it's great to finally be apart of such a great family, I've been lurking for years. My name is Eric and I'm currently living in the Northern Virginia Area. I have a 3/2003 Mystic Blue 330i ZHP. I am the third owner, bought the car, completely stock in December of 2008 with 54K miles on it. It currently has over 120K and is my daily driver. It's currently offline right now awaiting the return of the headlights from LightWerkz with the E46 retrofit FX-R Bixenon Projectors. Once I get the car back up, I'll post an updated picture or two. Here is a picture, prior to the B12 kit, clear corners/side markers being installed. Looking forward to contributing to the family, cheers.

It's actually my 21 YO son. And he wan't too happy about dad having the same car (even though dad paid for both ;-)

Most Saturdays are car days (warmer months), I'm working on the cars or others guys stop by to work on theirs, invite is open anytime, just call/PM to make sure I'm not at a soccer game. And cheap, the garage fridge accepts all beverages.

Welcome Eric! Say, have you ever had your car out to Summit Point Raceway in the past? I remember seeing a blue ZHP with black/very dark gray rims at the track some years ago, and your car looks very close in appearance.

Yes, I did a Hyperdrive during Hyperfest one year on the Jefferson circuit, had a great time. I'm looking forward to getting the car out on the main circuit but haven't had the chance to. Also, did some AutoX with the National Capital Chapter out at Bowie Stadium.

I got a custom diff from Dan at Diffsonline.com, quoting the invoice "Differential to suit e46 330 zhp with 3.46 gears and 3 disc 40% limited slip carrier." It's been an absolutely awesome setup, traction for days, really changed the cars personality, especially noticeable at AutoX events.

Great to hear that you had a chance to get out and enjoy the ZHP on the track! I haven't been on the Jefferson Circuit in a couple of years, but it is a fun (short) track and a good one to really hone your skills, as it gives you time to practice a few laps before the next run session pulls you off of the track. Ironically it was the skidpad for the Shenandoah Circuit where I recall seeing a car like yours, back in the summer of 2009. In reviewing my photos, I never took a photo of the blue ZHP at that event, just a quick shot of the hood in one of my videos. :slap I think that is was a Mercedes-Benz Club event ironically. If you haven't run the Shenandoah Circuit, I highly recommend that one. Lots of turns on it, so it is not a "high speed" track like VIR Full Course, though VIR is my most favorite track to date.

Autocross is fun too, though I usually end up at a track event if I can break away from work for the weekend in the summer. That said, I have attended the NCCBMWCCA event at Bowie Stadium many years ago, and had a fun time with it, though I was not in my ZHP at the time.

If you do end up planning for an event in the future, please create a thread on the forum to see if we can pull in any other mafia members to join!
