Item: ECS BMW Brembo Brake Kit
Condition: new with everything
Price: $1400.00
Payment method: Cash
Pick up preferred, shipping is too costly due to shear weight (over 100lbs)
Location: NYC

Hello everyone, I have here a new complete ECS set of BMW Performance brembo 6 piston brake kit for sale. I purchased this item with the intent to install but never got around into doing so. The reason I am selling it is because i need space and have other ventures I'd like to to tend to. This kit comes complete as ecs has listed, with brake lines, adapters, rotors, calipers, and fluid. Nothing is missing. I am asking $1400.00, cash preferred, which is cheaper than the ECS listed price, over $100 in savings. So it's a good price. I would like this to be picked up and not shipped because it would cost a bit due to the weight of the box. I'm located in the NYC Area. Please message me if you have any questions

Considering what ECS sells this kit for what you're selling it for (unused) is excellent.

Looking back.... I remember when this kit was going for just over $1k. I'm glad I purchased mine (w/ BP's suggestion) before the price hike! This is an awesome kit boys and girls! :thumbsup

It's amazing whenever an auto enthusiast rolls by then slows down just to take a look at the BBK...;) Last summer I had a guy driving a tricked out VW come by, he was passing me then he slowed down to take a pic of my BBK....I just smiled :)

For anyone who's on the fence regarding this kit I say do it :thumbsup Yeah, it's heavier then let's say the StopTech Trophy series BBK but this is still a nice kit for our ZHP's and doesn't cost anywhere near what you would pay for the StopTechs :)

Gee, you guys are really making me reconsider selling this...it is definitely a nice item both form and function wise and and a steal at the price I have it listed compare to the retail price. This is hard ugh

It's a nice item, but use some sense to see if it's worth it for you. Will you even take advantage of its benefits?

Sure, I'd love a nice BBK, but I will never use it, so I won't spend the money. And so, I don't buy it.

Golly, it sure is sexy, though.

Its a fun kit. Uses 330i rotors and 135i pads. Adequate and nice looking for streets. It needs some modifications for heavy track use.

It really is a nice looking kit. :)

FYI. Front zhp rims don't fit without spacers either.

Most people who purchase bbk's, purchase it for the bling effect. Very few take advantage of its benefits unless they track their car. I, for one, if installed would use these puppies as designed, though, the stock brakes are amazing as is.

Another way to look at it is this is another BMW Performance part that you could add to your ZHP. At first I wasn't sure I wanted to get this as I was planning to get another Performance part first.

This isn't a Performance part that was initially available for the 330 so my thoughts on this was "how much longer" will this kit stay available for our cars?

I don't track either cars but I do take both of them on very long road trips yearly. Not at the same time obviously.... So setting up my ZHP as best as I can seemed an obvious choice for me since it was purchased for the purpose of being my daily driver.

Bottom line....I'm glad I got this kit as well as everything else for my ZHP...the sum of all the mods together have made my ZHP an awesome driver :thumbsup

The BBK provides presence for sure :)

You can get the ones that don't say "BMW Performance" on them, instead they just say "BMW". They are dark grey in color.
Those are your only two choices.

At that point you're better off buying better brakes for that price as it adds that much more to the cost.

Regardless, I don't think there isn't a color that ZHPs came in that these calipers in this color don't look good on, IMO. This is a very good price for all that you get with the kit. Someone needs to pick this set up.

Correct me if I am wrong, its painted in phenoix yellow as the early e46 M3's were. I believe this is the best color to offset/pop the current colors in the ZHP line up. This would go great with my imola sedan!

Honestly, if I tracked my car, I'd have already bought this. If I drove more miles and had some cash, I'd have bought it. It's a great price. But for me personally, that money for brake bling when I drive 8.5K year is just too hard to justify. And trust me, I want to justify it. :) Said in a Captain Kirk voice, "must.... have.....more..... co-MISSshun". And, I'm still begging for someone else to remove the temptation.

Well if someone wants rotors and/or brake fluid, buy this kit and I'll buy the rest from you. It would make no sense at all for me to buy this and pay to ship rotors and fluid that I don't need, then have to resell and ship those same things out.

az3579

I may be inclined to buy and part out. I need buyers for all the components though.
I know I have a buyer for the calipers... anyone want the rotors and pads? I don't want to be out any money except for the the value of the lines as I will keep them.

This would not be an issue for me because I live one state over from NY; the city is essentially an hour from me.

Rando, this would be a great deal for you because EACH caliper is I think 600-700$. You'd be getting both for a LOT less than the cost of this entire kit (which is about what the price of just two calipers is).

Price...?

All relative, my friend. What do you want?
I just want to break even. Once I have people interested in the items, then I'll go buy this kit and we could work out the price as long as I get promises to not back out. I can't be out of money on this, I just can't.

Don't expect massive discounts on the parts, maybe small ones. I can't discount and break even. (When I say break even, I mean break even minus the price of the lines, because I need those). I expect to be giving the discount to Rando who wants the calipers; those are clearly the expensive items.

I'm thinking $850 for both calipers, $150 for the pads, $330 for the rotors? Whoever wants the fluid first will get it no extra cost.
All of these of course are + shipping + packaging. The brake lining sensor will come with the pads to whoever wants it. Note the pads are 135i pads.

So... am I going to go pick up this kit?
