Price seems high for a used LSD
He said clutch type and turner motorsports. I wonder if its an OS Giken unit

Not that I plan to put in a LSD anytime soon, but why is a 3.23 ratio a poor choice? I believe my stock diff is 3.07 and heard a good ratio for the 6-speed is 3.46. So wouldn't a 3.23 be better than a 3.07, if perhaps not as good as the 3.46?

I take that statement back, I was thinking of E46 M3 ratios. My bad.
Still not sold on the price though.

For what it is, the price is pretty fair IMO

For a used one, it should be sub-$2k

I agree, but its a pretty rare part so the markup is justified for me

Interesting. It's a 3.23 ratio which is rare to begin with on an E46.. and it mentions it was from BMW germany. I wonder if this is a BMW motorsport LSD not an 3rd party one.
And whats wrong with M3 final drive :P

He said its from BMW Motorsports in Germany, put together by Turner. If I had a spare $2k, I would for sure be picking it up

Guy is local to me and if he's the one I'm thinking of, is a pretty good diff builder. Even though it is used, he rebuilds the clutch packs and checks all the bearing tolerances. Pretty good deal for what seems like a factory LSD for Non-Ms.
Sent from my GS3.

yea it mentioned it, but there isn't really anything to confirm it is from BMW. It is a nice diff though! The price is a bit high but its fair IMO.
