Well Jezus.....he doesn't answer "the scratch" question, then.... He says it's "gently used", then Charlie says it's an "on par" price for one in "perfect condition".
I was there 2 minutes and was :confused
That's the behavior that makes me keep my money.

That's correct Dane. For a Performance strut bar in perfect condition I would expect to shell out $600. Not for one that is not perfect. Something like that one I would expect to see somewhere around $300-$400 tops.

Good thing we called in the experts :thumbup
I'll offer him $25... I mean shit, it's a specialty item that I'm really gonna have a hard time finding a buyer for. Not every day someone walks up to me and asks for a performance strut bar.

No way I can drop that kinda coin on one of those... gorgeous as they are, I'm gonna have to go the cheapo route. :(
Say, while we're on the strut bar topic, do these things act as tower reinforcement plates and protect against mushrooming?

Yes they do. I wouldn't say they 100% prevent it, but they do act as protection.

You don't have to go "cheapo" route. This is what I have right now and it is a beefy-as-heck bar that is well worth the money ($395).

I got the two tone one (black and titanium). I'll take a pic of it when I get home this weekend.

Kinda... the xi reinforcing plates do a much better job to prevent mushrooming and are significantly cheaper
