I had this in my ZHP, I am putting it back to stock, so this setup is forsale.

Does not include the ebrake cables, but you can use those from your stock setup like I did.

This is a direct bolt in for a 6 speed, I believe that you must do something custom with the drive shaft for 5 speed.

$1200 LOCAL PICKUP IN MARYLAND ONLY!

Does this include the brakes?

That's a great price!

Just to clarify, can you specify specs on the diff? What's different from the ZHP? LSD?

Joop,

M3 diff has LSD and 3.62 final drive as well. The rear brakes are 328mmx20 vs 320mmx22 on ours.
Also the Parking brake drum is much larger (for those ebrake turns yo!)

This is a direct bolt on for us manual cars. It gets complicated for the auto/5spd guys for the driveshaft mating to the transmission side.

Good luck with the sale! That's a very good price for a complete subframe swap.

Ok, so the subframe itself is the same... And seeing as how the brake size difference is pretty nominal, I guess I don't get the point in swapping everything. I'm interested in the diff though!

Miles on the diff ? From what year ?

The M3 Subframe is different than the non-M. You need the subframe minimally, and the M3 rear sway bar as well. It's easier to install a full rear end than it is to piece it together with your existing one.

John,

At minimal, you need

Driveshaft,
Subframe
M3 rear sway bar
Differential,
Half-shafts
ABS sensors (if this swap is pre-MK60, you need the blue plug ABS sensors, 330i ones are too long, you can use automatic ones.)

If you have any questions Joop, feel free to text :)

edit:

it also looks like this setup is missing the calipers for the M3 brakes and/or abs sensors?

I need to get all that just to install an M3 diff??

There are no calipers or rotors, but I will include the abs sensors.

Can you use 330 rotors and calipers with this swap?

Sent from my GS3.

Not that I am aware of. Parking brakes on the m3 are significantly thicker than the 330i ones and the rotors wont fit. The mounting locations of the M calipers are different than the 330i calipers.

The parking brake is the same size on the M3. I know because I had the ralley road BBK on it with the stock subframe and that used stock M3 rotors.

If the calipers don't work, you can put your trailing arms on the subframe too.
