Anyone have one of these they're looking to sell? What's the right amount to plan to pay for this?

Or suggestions about where the best place might be to buy/look?

Thanks.

A single piece will be difficult to obtain. Is your's scratched or broken? There are a couple of DIYs to "repair" scratches here on the forums.

Other than the forums (e46f, bimmerforums,..) I would look on ebay (international is usually cheaper but keep in mind shipping prices and possibility of right-hand drive sets) and craigslist. I wish you good luck in finding one.

You can pretty easily take care of the mild scratches with a permanent black marker. I touched mine up and am very impressed with results.

FYI- There is a complete set on eBay for $200.

Mine is broken, not scratched. The previous owner broke off the "tabs" at the front edge of the trim that hold it in place underneath the ashtray. So every time I raise my windows (lifting up on a switch) the whole trim piece raises up slightly along the front edge.

Not a huge issue, but annoying. Wolf, link to the ebay sale? Anyone interested in the other parts if I buy it and keep the shifter trim?

Rando, do you happen to have the part number handy? And is it hard to specify the black cube when ordering?

No it's not hard to specify. I'll look for the part #. You can have my old one for free (just pay shipping) if you want. It's in great condition, it's just a little faded and looks slightly purple-ish than black, but at least you wouldn't have to deal with the part lifting. BTW, that craigslist is for a sedan, I don't know if the center piece is the same.
