View Full Version : 3D scan of my ZHP

So I had a chance to play with a 3-D laser scanner.
I can't really say how or why I got to use this scanner, however I can say that it's typically used in surveying.
Unfortunately I don't have the software yet to manipulate the 3-D scans, however I will try to find a way to do that.

Until then I can only offer the previews which I have attached to this post.

We have a 3-D printer here at VT that's a decent size. I've always wanted to try to print a model of my car!

Best of all...it's free to use!

I doubt it, you would need either many more scans so you get every possible angle but more likely just need to build a model on the computer to print
